Why didn't Europe come to our aid in Iraq like we came to their aid in WWII and WWI?

Ungreatful that's how I see it. We sacrificed millions of American men in two world wars to keep Europe safe and than gave free military protection for years after but when it was our turn to go to war when it was our turn to prevent Iraq from invading America to shut down Saddams nuclear weapons to bring democracy to the Iraq people what did Europe do? That's right, nothing!!!! Why does Europe want al our money and our culture but when it comes time to defend America the country that gives them the money and the culture they are not willing to do it. why did we have to go into Iraq alone and take out Saddam and remove the threat he posed to us?
