What were the main problems in Europe after WWI?

Europe's biggest economy, Germany, was destroyed and couldn't recover due to reparations it had to pay France and other countries. Jews used this as an opportunity to buy up all the German businesses, making it harder for the Germany economy to recover. This created a severe recession, and other countries responded by becoming protectionist, making the recession even worse.
