Using screws to stop squeaking linoleum floors?

Yes that's how you do it. Find the studs and screw it. My friend had an upstairs squeak in his floor and I pulled the carpet back to find that concrete had been poured over the wood floor with a big crack in it so I squirted glue in the crack and put screws in the crack and the squeak was gone.
