How do i back off a bit?

My boyfriend & i have been together almost 2 years.. we had a rough patch about a month ago but now we are okay, taking things easy & things are better than ever. i want to keep him interested after everything weve been through so i thought maybe playing a little hard to get? how do i do this without looking like im not bothered? its been 2 years so he will notice anything too drastic, i want to do it subtly so he is more interested & wants to keep me..
