What cheap Motorcycle is the best?

I am wanting to get a good dependable motorcycle. I have never had one before so i need a good cheap beginner bike. I don't want a crotch rocket. I would like a cheap cruiser that will be good for me. I would like advice from someone that has experience riding or has the bike themselves.
