Ear Wax Problem after using debrox...?

Ok, so I last night, I had debrox put in my ear because when I was cleaning my ear, I felt that I might have pushed some earwax in my ear. But after putting debrox, I cant hear anything from the left ear, which is where I put the debrox. When I try touching my ear a little after taking a bath, it feels a bit squishy because some water may have entered my ear. But yeah, when I touch it a little, I get to hear better for a split second, but then it clogs up again. What can this be? Is it just earwax or is it something really serious? Pls help =[
