Do I have to take the Life In The UK exam?
Im 19 now, I came here when I was 3 and have lived here permanently ever since. My whole family was granted indefinite leave to remain in 1999. All my education was in England and by all means I am fully capable of communicating in english. I am currently at university and want to apply for a british pport but the guidelines on the UK immigration website are either vague or confusing as to whether or not I need to actually take the test that was brought in in 2005. The thing is, recently I saw my last child support form from a few years ago and it already has me registered as a british citizen! I've called them up a few times (Immigration) to see what my status is but no-one seems to be able to give me a straight answer, HELP!!
